This week, I took some time to celebrate a few women doing extraordinary work in their communities. It felt good to highlight direct pathways to action. Yet as soon as I hit publish, I felt an equally strong internal directive to honor those of us—of you—who are doing tough, invisible, inner work. Work that isn’t glorified or even noticed. Especially in times when the world is so loud, this work is vital. I want to acknowledge those of you:
• doing the inner work that is not necessarily visible, fighting to sustain and care for yourselves and/or those dependent on you
• whose energy is being directed to many in the immediate sphere of your family, or others who you support
• who are not yet ready to share your work publicly, or who feel scared
• who do not feel seen or whose purpose is not yet externalized
• who are tired, who are angry, who are ready.
I see you. Thank you.
This message resonated with many of you, so I wanted to share it permanently here.
