I find that my body thrives when I give it a break from feasting to recover and process everything I’ve thrown it’s way. In this case, the day after Thanksgiving, turkey, butter, sugar, cheese, flour, and a bunch of other not so easy to process foods. I like hitting the reset button just as much as I like gorging on pumpkin pie.
Ingredients
- ¼ Granny Smith apple
- 2 leaves handfuls clean spinach
- 2- inch cut of cucumber quartered
- ¼ lemon de-seeded and peeled
- 2-3 leaves fresh basil
- ¾ cup or so cold pure water
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to VitaMix or high powered blender—water should cover about ¾ of the ingredients. Blend on high until fully smooth and juicy.
